Red Wine China Import shall accept inspections and quarantine and handle label examination and archival filing. China import agents of Pre-packing beverage and alcohol shall make Chinese label on their own based on GB10344-2005 Pre-packing Beverage and Alcohol Label General Rules.
CIQ will label health supervision and inspection mark on qualified imported red wine and issue sanitary certificate (original copy and duplicate ). Those fail to pass CIQ inspection and quarantine are not allowed to be imported into China.
Declaration Documents:
1.Business license
2.Inspection and quarantine report of red wind quality. Importer shall submit imported red wine samples to CIQ for inspection and obtain inspection report.
3. Manufacturer production license photocopy and Chinese translation. This license shall be issued by export country related body or organization.
4. Manufacturer health certificate photocopy and Chinese translation. This license shall be issued by export country related body or organization.
5. Manufacturer red wine production process flow photocopy and Chinese translation. Only simple red wind production process flow plus manufacturer official seal or person in charge’s signature are required
6. Chinese Label sample. The content on original label shall be kept， and the Chinese Label shall come with corresponding Chinese translation. Plus the Chinese name shall be a larger font than foreign name. The sample shall in the size of origin copy.
When the above materials are ready, import agent can submit to local CIQ for examination and approval. The importer will obtain Chinese registered trademark approval letter. One red wine variety corresponds to one trade mark.In case that one red wine variety apply for a second trade mark, the Chinese name can not be the same with the first one. If the declared Chinese name has been used, the importer shall submit another name.

It is required to provide certificate of origin, health certificate, sales contract, packing list, invoice, B/L when declare commercial inspection for imported red wine. For first time import, label examination application form, Chinese label sample(five pieces), original label and Chinese translation(five pieces each),reference materials reflecting product specific properties are required. When necessary, provide inspection body with test report, sanitary certificate and special statement document of cargo.
