The new regulations stipulated that the bromate contained in potable natural mineral water shall be less than 0.01mg. Meanwhile, the new regulations cancels the bacterial count standard which has an important position in our country’s  drinking water indexes . Meanwhile, the new regulations add three microorganism indexes, and stipulated that in the sample of 250ml potable natural mineral water, the content of three pathogenic bacterium - streptococcus faecium, pseudomonas aeruginosa, and clostridium perfringens shall be “0”

Three national standards for beer, mineral water, and olive olive will come to effect soon. Therein, the new standards for beer and potable natural mineral water replace the original standards. The most significant feature of the new national standards of potable natural mineral water(hereinafter referred to as the new standards)  is that bacterial count standard has been canceled, and bromate index limit is newly added. The new national standards for beer are revised by CHINA ALCOHOLIC DRINKS INDUSTRY ASSOCIATION. Compared with the original national standards, the new standards revise the definitions of dry bee, ice beer,low alcohol beer, wheat beer, turbid beer, and add definitions of alcohol-free beer and fruit and vegetable beer. In the new standards,  alcohol-free beer is defined as beer whose alcohol content is less than or equal to 0.5%vol, and original wort concentration is bigger than or equal to 3.0°P.
